Flipping a 2d texture in maya and allowing for rotation

Question

I’m trying to take a texture node and flip the image horizontally in maya - and have it still work correctly with the 2d placement node with rotating.

Ive found that I can flip the texture fine by setting the repeatU to -1, but as soon as I do the rotation appears offset.  Does anyone know an easy way to just flip an image and have rotation work?

Ah, I figured out the problem, I had been using the offset and setting that to -1, not repeat. Dur.  Silly user error. ?

Here's an image - set MirrorU to on and Repeat U to -1.

Boom!
